The Magni Combi Touch System (MCTS) is one of the key features of Magni machines. This “polyglot” system can communicate with the operator in 11 languages through an intuitive interface, divided into 5 areas. Let’s take a look at what it consists of and its functions.
The Magni Combi Touch System is the new frontier in machine management. Thanks to its very intuitive icon style, this tool is easy to use for both experienced operators and first-time users. The operator can interface with this system via the in-cab touch screen, which has been designed in every detail to allow full control of every function of the machine. This system is divided into five main pages, each dedicated to different tasks. Pages can be easily accessed via a specific button on the joystick. Here is an overview of each area.
DRIVING: this page provides all the information related to driving the machine. Among these we can mention the speed selector that allows you to set two different speeds: “turtle” for slow and precise movements and “rabbit” to cover longer distances quickly. Moreover, it allows to visualize the turret position and the level of the chassis.
STABILISATION: this is where all the functions related to the use of the stabilisers are managed. These allow the machine to operate in complete stability, maximising lifting capacity. Therefore, the operator can choose whether to control the stabiliser functions via the in-cab touch screen or via the control panel located on the right of the operator’s seat.
LOAD CHART: this section shows in real time the position of the load in space, including weight and lifting height. At the top of the page, the operator can visualize the attachment coupled and all numerical information related to the telescopic boom.
COMMAND: this area allows to adjust several functions, such as the temperature inside the cabin through the standard air conditioning system and the switching on and off of the optional LED and working beacon lights.
CUSTOMISATION: allows to program certain functions in order to optimise the safety and efficiency of the machine. These include customising the position and length of the telescopic boom, the limits of the turret rotation and the hydraulic flow of specific functions of the boom.
