In a “male-dominated” world, there are many women who work every day to bring operators up to height and to overcome thousand challenges. Inspired by a photograph, this article is addressed by women to all women who every day put their knowledge and commitment at the service of successful enterprises.
These few but heartfelt lines pay tribute to all women who perform miracles in silence every day. We address all women, mothers, managers, workers and unemployed women who, with extreme dignity and courage, look after children, keep companies going and strive in a chaotic and highly competitive society where gender differences sometimes persist.
In this photo of women for women, we all have different colours but we are united by the same spirit of collaboration and support.
Francesca is a rider who has now found her place among olive trees and the Ligurian sea. Maura is mother and the Press Office and Social Media Manager of the Gaslini Institute. Kristina is the Gaslini PR manager and me Maria, I’m the Magni Marketing Manager and future mother.
I will keep this photo in my heart because it reminds me of a magical working day. This day enriched us grown-ups more than anything else. It confronted us with the brutality of the disease but gently showed us how to deal with it and make it more bearable. Thanks again to everyone for organising the first stage of “mototherapy at height” and to all the women who were present and read us.
Always have the courage to look beyond and to ask for help, when needed.
