Trenes Argentinos S.E., a state-owned company which ensures the operation and maintenance of Argentina’s railway network, decided to carry out a major project: the construction of modular bridges on 44 railway stations. It is a huge step forward for the area, as it is the first time that such state-of-the-art architectural structures are built in Argentina.  In case of need, the bridges can be disassembled and moved without the need to demolish them.  This significantly contributes to environmental issues, saving materials and costs.

CONSTRUCCIONES OMI SA took charge of the project, started construction at the beginning of 2022 and plans to finish within 18 months. In order to complete the task, the construction company contacted our local dealer American Vial, which provided a solution in line with their needs and the site’s requirements: the TH 6.20.

This TH fixed telehandler model offers a lifting height of 20 metres and a load capacity of 6 tonnes. The machine is mainly used as a support for larger cranes within the site, delivering concrete and installing the bridges at height.
