Magni AWP spotted at Milano Marittima
Magni’s wide range of scissor lifts is suitable for any need. One of these was spotted in the centre of Milano Marittima, while it was being used to mount pigeon scarers between two trees.
On Monday 27 June, a Magni TH scissor lift was seen at work in front of the Zero7Venti4 bar, near the roundabout in Viale Forlì, Milano Marittima. The owner had asked for wires to be fixed to two trees in front of his bar to hang four plastic falcons. The objective was scaring off pigeons and preventing them from perching on the trees and disturbing the customers below.
After wearing his safety equipment, the operator climbed onto the platform and positioned himself under the tree. Once found the right position, he operated the platform reaching the required height to perform the job, attached two wires at about 6 metres and finally hanged and evenly distributed the fake falcons.
The job has been carried out with a ES0807AC fully electric AC scissor lift, which offers a maximum capacity of 230kg and a working height of up to 7.8m.
Besides its performance, this platform was chosen for several technical reasons:
- This model is equipped with a hydraulic multi-position slide-out extension deck on the front of the platform which allowed to get as close as possible to the tree to secure the wires.
- Thanks to its compact size (1.67×0.74 m) and zero turning radius the platform moved smoothly in the narrow space between the two tree.
- The platform is equipped with a movable control panel that can be attached in different sports. Thus, the operator can guide the platform from the ground and have more freedom of movement on board.
- Fold-down guardrails allow increased accessibility for loading and unloading the machine in trucks, containers and other situations with limited space. (the platform was transported inside a ramp van).
Once again Magni proves itself capable of responding to the most particular and specific needs. To find out which scissor lift models are best suited to your needs, visit the product section on our website and consult our range catalogues in the download section.
